Delicious Louisiana Blackened Catfish

Ingredients:

4 Catfish Fillets
2 cups cornmeal
2 cups flour
1/4 cup of yellow mustard
1/2 cup of hot sauce
1 cup of Uncle Dibbz Atlanta Lemon Pepper HOT!
½ cup honey
½ cup of butter

Instructions:

Step 1

Heat fryer to 375°F.

Step 2

Place catfish in a large bowl and coat with mustard, hot sauce and Uncle Dibbz Atlanta Lemon Pepper HOT! to taste.

Step 3

Mix cornmeal, flour, cornstarch, and 1/2 cup of Uncle Dibbz Atlanta Lemon Pepper HOT! a large bowl. Evenly coat catfish fillets with cornmeal mixture and shake off excess and let rest on a wire rack for 10 mins.

Step 4

Fry catfish for 5 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly on a wire rack.

Step 5

Mix melted butter honey, hot sauce, Uncle Dibbz Atlanta Lemon Pepper HOT! in a sauce pan and heat on low.

Step 6

Drizzle fillets with hot honey lemon pepper mixture. Enjoy!
